Connecting During Covid - Storied Lives : Principal Liu - Short

In this animated video, we celebrate the spirit of Principal Liu, a 78-year-old lifelong learner whose passion for education and technology knows no bounds.

After emigrating from China to Canada, Liu met the challenges of the pandemic with a mindset poised for growth and innovation. A self-taught expert in Photoshop and AutoCAD, he has contributed to his son’s construction business and has vividly captured the life of his community through videos and photographs.

Principal Liu’s narrative is one of self-motivation and adaptability, transforming the constraints of COVID-19 into a medium for his digital storytelling as a way of documenting his lived experience. Join us as we explore the inspiring journey of Principal Liu, who shows us that the quest for knowledge and the commitment to educate and inspire never diminish with age.

His dedication to lifelong learning and his skill in leveraging technology to stay connected and make meaningful contributions to his community serve as a powerful testament that it’s never too late to adapt and flourish.
